Robert worked at the bespoke design PR agency Caro Communications as an Account Director within the architecture team. He was responsible for managing teams across a number of different clients, ranging from young design studios to larger established practices, working on projects all over the UK and abroad. He also worked for a number of key events and institutions, including the London Festival of Architecture, New London Architecture and the World Architecture Festival.
As Media and Client Coordinator at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, Robert launched several high-profile projects including the One Hyde Park and NEO Bankside residential properties in London, as well as the Las Arenas bullring conversion in Barcelona. Additionally, he worked on the promotion of exhibitions such as From the House to the City at the Beijing Capital Museum and Richard Rogers RA: Inside Out at the Royal Academy of Arts. He has travelled internationally on behalf of the company and was the main client representative for the practice.
Working as an editor at Phaidon Press he was responsible for a number of large-scale projects, namely the Phaidon Atlas of 21st Century World Architecture, which required the implementation of a complex database and the coordination of a ten-person team. He is still connected to the publishing world and has written (and even provided illustrations) for books on architecture and design.
Robert is passionate about our built environment and has developed firm roots within the architectural community, including strong relationships with key journalists, institutions and clients. He believes that good internal communication is essential for producing successful media campaigns that support business objectives. He is adept at building and maintaining relationships with new and potential clients.
